Learn Karate with Swansea Karate Academy, lessons suitable for beginners to advanced level.
We are a friendly Shotokan Karate club with classes in the Uplands/Sketty area of Swansea. Our class location is also convenient for Dunvant, Killay, Gower, Uplands, Brynmill, Townhill and Swansea Town.
We welcome all students from complete beginners of any age (6 years +), those returning to Karate, and older students who have always wanted to try Karate.
For any new student the first lesson is free, and you can attend on a 'pay as you go' basis while you decide if karate is for you. If karate is for you or your child, you can then opt for one of our monthly payment plans

We have students ranging from 6 yrs to 70 yrs, from white belts to higher grade black belts, and students from other styles - contact us to find out which class would be most suitable for you.
All of our senior instructors have enhanced DBS checks, current first aid training, and child protection training.

Liz Sensei and Dave Sensei are also great, as a parent, I love watching Liz explain the basic moves to the younger students.

being part of a fantastic Karate family that nurtures their students to be the best they can be.

Great family oriented club. I train with both the senior and the junior and belts as the classes are such good fun. The teaching and leadership team are superb.Can heartily recommend for both children and their parents. Come join us!!
